1972 Alfa Spider

Alfa Romeo has been building cars since the beginning of the 20th Century. It continues to this day to produce classic designs with overtly sporting characteristics.

1966 saw the introduction of the new Spider to replace the then ageing Giulietta Spider. The new Spider was now designed and built by Pininfarina and based on the Giulia 105 series chassis with a shortened wheelbase.

In 1970 the round tail was replaced with the Kamm Style cut-off tail as well as with other numerous small changes both inside and out, such as new door handles and improved interior trim. The following year the 2000 Spider Veloce was introduced with a 1962cc engine producing 132bhp with a limited slip differential. This model continued in production until 1994 with many changes along the way.

Stunning Sporty 1972 Alfa Romeo 2000 Veloce Spider. Restored inside and out this open-air duet includes authentic one of a kind 70’s paint scheme. Lime green metallic over black and beige leather with green hue and aluminum inlays on the centre console. New windshield with built-in antenna & JBL sound system. Characteristic Perspex covered headlamps complete the look of this classic roadster. This car is solid throughout, runs and drives extremely well. Lots of money invested in the restoration.

“Someone who chooses Alfa Romeo is choosing a car that is like no other.”
