Manufactured and marketed by Fiat from 1961 to 1967, the Fiat 1300 and 1500 were a series of front-engine, rear-wheel-drive automobiles. Essentially identical to each other by looks, the 1500 offered a more significant engine displacement over its counterpart and became the favored among the two. The 1500 came with a 75-horsepower engine which made quick work on the road thanks to its lightweight construction. What also helped aid in the desirability of these sporty vehicles was the mastermind coachwork behind them. Designed by Pininfarina, the coachbuilder behind much of Ferrari’s success, it proudly wears the badging on both the driver and passenger sides.

Comprehensively restored back to its original Italian roots, this Fiat 1500 Cabriolet is a subtle attention grabber in the truest sense. Spawning from the final year of production, it is a Cabriolet that isn’t the flashiest on the road by any means but will make people ponder what it really is as it drives by. The body wears a Dark Red Maroon metallic paint that displays a nice shine while under the sun. The lightweight body sits on factory wheel covers wrapped in newer Firestone tires that have lots of tread left to give its next owner. The black convertible top is in great shape and goes up and down with ease and comes with a boot cover that matches the interior. The entire cabin has been restored as well, leaving it with comfortable and beautifully trimmed cream upholstery. The four-speed manual shifter is slotted at an angle between the driver and passenger, allowing for more space between the occupants. The interior also comes with an upgraded “vintage look” radio.

This Fiat has always been well-cared-for and looked after. Ready to be enjoyed by its next owner with the top up or down, it presents as a wonderful contender to drive daily or take on a weekend excursion.
