The Porsche 911 model was first introduced at the 1963 Frankfurt Motor Show. The 911 has one of longest production run of any sports car in the world! Which explains why many Porsche enthusiasts describe this model as the never-ending story!

The 911 was 100mm longer than the 356, this made it a more practical two plus two and with its new 2 liter flat six engine it was faster. In 1966 Porsche introduced the more powerful 911S producing 160 bhp and giving a top speed of 137 mph. 1970 sore the engine capacity rise to 2.2 liters and then in 1972 to 2.4 liters.

A New 911S was released in Coupe and Targa versions in 1974 and design was kept the same throughout 3 years, increased displaced of 2.7L Flat-6 engine made the car produce over 160HP to 175 Hp (varies between places). 911 S came with 5-speed manual gearbox. This car could to 60MPH in approximately 6.1 seconds and reach over 140MPH.
